We are recruiting a Project Support Officer to join the Support With Confidence team at East Sussex County Council.

The Support With Confidence scheme is our locally owned quality accreditation scheme, approving local care and support providers across the county, this includes personal assistants and micro businesses. The scheme is run by Adult Social Care & Health in partnership with Trading Standards to work with care and support providers working in the unregulated market, to raise standards which ensures that local residents receive high quality care and support services.

Working as a part of an established team you will enjoy a varied and rewarding role being responsible for the scheme application process, leading on interviewing and supporting applicants to access training towards their approval on to the scheme. You will also be involved in recruitment and publicity campaigns, networking events and delivering training.

You will have excellent communication skills to work with scheme applicants and members, internal and external stakeholders, and the general public.

There is no such thing as a typical week in this role! You will therefore need to be organised, be able to prioritise your work and be able to work under your own initiative.

The post is based at County Hall, Lewes, East Sussex but you will also be required to travel around the county.
