The role of the Construction Supervisor will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of a major program of construction works within the Authority and other joint working Partners.
A Fixed Term position has arisen within the Environment and Community Services Division for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join the Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the department’s expertise in the contract supervision and site inspection of construction projects, in the field of mechanical and electrical building services.
The role will involve liaising and communicating with the construction team on site to ensure projects are effectively delivered whilst maintaining all site records necessary to meet the contractual requirements. It will involve providing all necessary back-up / technical support to the Mechanical and Electrical Engineers responsible for delivering construction projects.
From time to time the successful candidate will also assist in managing statutory testing for the property portfolio to ensure all necessary tests are undertaken at the required intervals.
The position carries an Approved Casual Car User Allowance therefore access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement.
