An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Court of Protection Team, this is a new role.

 

This position, under the general guidance of the Court of Protection Team Manager, will deal with the preparation and submission of applications to the Department for Work and Pensions for Service Users who lack the mental capacity to deal with their own financial affairs.  This is a support role and you will be assisting the Court of Protection Team Officers in their day to day management of Service Users’ finances.

 

This is a responsible position dealing with some aspects of Service Users’ finances, and it is essential you are able to work to strict timescales and guidelines and your work is to a high level of accuracy.  NVQ level 2 literacy and numeracy is essential.  Knowledge of the benefits system would be preferable.

 

This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitations of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
