‘WasteAware’ is Hertfordshire’s award winning public awareness and behavioural change campaign fundamental to the success of the Hertfordshire Waste Partnership. The aim of the campaign is to promote a wider understanding of issues linked to waste prevention, minimisation and recycling using a range of mediums from traditional presentations through to modern social media and will include promotion of the extensive range of recycling services available to residents in Hertfordshire, changing attitudes and behaviour to waste.
Given the size of the challenge the Hertfordshire Waste Partnership is now looking to recruit a second full time co-ordinator to liaise with colleagues in the partner authorities; with county, district and borough councillors, members of the public and other stakeholders to deliver a complex high profile campaign.
This involves co-ordinating, developing and implementing projects in conjunction with various project partners. You’ll be continually reviewing the campaign to deliver key messages; build awareness and change behaviour. To do this, in addition to general management of the campaign, you will also give presentations, prepare exhibitions, attend public meetings and other stakeholder events as well as deal with enquiries related to the campaign from a diverse range of sources.
