We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to assist Chelmsford City Council’s Building Services, in maintaining its diverse range of buildings and playing a key role in the day to day management of building maintenance and utilities contracts.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to become a vital link between the Premises Managers and the Contractors we have procured, in the effective and efficient management of the work involved in maintaining the many assets and buildings that the Council own. These include, amongst others: Hylands House, the Civic Centre, Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre, High Chelmer Multi Story Car Park and Chancellor Park Pavilion. You will coordinate reactive jobs, cyclical maintenance and utilities works as well and have excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
You will be based at the Civic Centre Offices in Chelmsford, but you may also be required to travel to sites within the Borough.
