We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile policy planner who can help us deliver a new policy framework for North Somerset.
Based in modern offices close to the seafront in one of the most attractive parts of the country, you would be part of a busy, high-profile team working in a varied policy environment which includes balancing significant development pressures in a constrained area which includes Green Belt, AONB, extensive areas vulnerable to flooding and other sensitive environments.
Our challenges are wide ranging and as a result there will be plenty of opportunity to develop your experience and skills. You should hold a degree in Town and Country Planning or equivalent and be eligible for membership of the RTPI with a good understanding of the plan-making process.
This is a career graded post and we can offer a range of benefits including flexible working hours and a friendly and supportive team.
For an informal discussion, please contact Michael Reep on 01934 426775.
Anticipated interview date: Tuesday 07 January 2020
