A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Registered Practitioner post in the Dartford, Gravesend and Swanley Supporting Independence team.

We believe that by working closely with our communities, the NHS and our partners, understanding local needs and working with individuals in a positive and responsive way, we can make a real difference. We are looking for motivated, passionate professionals who are committed to working in an integrated team and are ready to embrace new ways of working in order to further shape our services.

You will have the potential to take on complex case work, demonstrate best practice in the team and support the individuals we work with to progress towards their independence and wellbeing goals.

If you are a qualified Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Nurse with experience in Adult Social Care then we would love to hear from you. You need to be HCPC registered with a CQSW, DipSW or equivalent degree.

The ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day is essential. You should note that public transport is rarely a viable option as some rural areas of Kent often have limited public transport.

We pride ourselves on being a great place to live and work - come and join us.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure application to the Disclosure and Barring service and a relevant professional qualification (Social Work, Nursing or Occupational Therapy) as well as up to date registration with the appropriate professional body.

For further information on this role please contact Judith Stephens on 03000 412681.
