In this fascinating role at the heart of local government you’ll work closely with the Assistant Directors of Communities Economy & Transport (CET) as a member of a small business support team within the CET Department.
You’ll have lead responsibility for providing two Assistant Directors and one Lead Member with personal assistant support, from scheduling regular diary appointments to organising high level meetings and events, managing forward plans, preparing agendas, coordinate reports and taking minutes for meetings so organisational skills are essential.
Dynamic, flexible, curious and able to run with anything, you’ll be discreet with excellent judgement and able to maintain confidentiality.
Due to the department’s commitment to partnership working, and the collaboration required both within the team and across the Council, you should be excellent at building relationships at all levels.
It’s essential that you have Microsoft Office skills and last but not least, you’ll be a natural at customer care.
