Salary: Starting salary from £90,000 (up to £120,000 p.a. for an exceptional candidate)

We are currently seeking a Director of Adult Social Care who will also act as the statutory Director of Adult Social Services (DASS) and lead the development of evidence-based and innovative strategies that will ensure the achievement of planned outcomes for vulnerable adults.
This role will also provide strategic and expert leadership to ensure that vulnerable adults with care and support needs are safe from harm, ensuring the division, directorate and organisation supports people to be able to live healthy and independent lives where possible and maximises the impact on improving outcomes for vulnerable people.
The successful candidate will contribute to the leadership of the organisation, ensuring a high calibre, motivated and effective workforce, as well as the embedding of a digitally focussed, agile way of working with staff, embodying the principles of Camden 2025 and Our Camden Way.
You will also ensure that the work of adult services is of high quality and achieves its objectives, by effective performance and risk management. Represent the Council by promoting its image and reputation on a national and London wide stage, helping to influence national and regional policies and strategies.
