You will be part of a team working on projects to improve resident's access to broadband and fundamentally changing the way our residents work and live. Job Purpose Southwark is focussed on improving the availability, performance and affordability of broadband services, telecommunication networks and other mobile technologies across the borough through the spread of digital infrastructure. We are also committed to supporting residents who do not have the digital skills to gain access to digital services that can improve their lifestyle. As a Project Officer, you will join the team to deliver on a range of digital projects as part of wider programme to address the borough's connectivity and digital inclusion needs. Working across a large stakeholder community, you will maintain key relationships with senior stakeholders to understand the needs of residents and build partnerships with key external partners and suppliers. The Person You will have relevant knowledge and experience of project and/or programme management including: * Experience of managing small projects and supporting projects within a large organisation. * Experience of building and developing relationships both internally and externally. * Experience and an understanding of the importance of delivering communication and engagement plans to ensure benefits are realised after the solution is delivered.
