Are you someone with determination to improve the safety of the community, take a lead role in partnership working across a wide range of crime reduction priorities, contribute to meeting the challenge of serious organised crime and be part of the Council’s new focus on enforcement?

 At Epsom & Ewell Borough Council, we have made much progress in invigorating our approach to community safety, partnership working and enforcement. This key role will be instrumental in continuing to develop the necessary relationships with the police and other partners whilst making headway in the critical areas of; antisocial behaviour, safeguarding, PREVENT and serious organised crime.  There is also the important role of managing an antisocial behaviour and environmental crime case load.

You will have the opportunity to use your experience from working in the fields of community safety, law enforcement and partnership working to help drive forward these important statutory areas and be encouraged to develop alternative approaches, new ways of working and innovation to maximise the benefit to the public.

Although this is a full time post, it is important that we get the right person, so we will consider applications from those wanting to work fewer hours.
