Epping Forest District Council is undergoing an exciting transformation and there is an opportunity to join the Housing Needs and Older People’s Service in one of two key roles and play a major part in shaping services and improving customer experience in order to achieve the delivery of high quality, excellent housing services which meet the needs of clients.
Are you an expert in Part VI of the Housing Act as amended, case law and related codes of guidance? Are you committed to the provision of sensitive, timely, customer focussed services? Would you like to play a leading role in shaping and improving services in order to ensure the efficient allocation and letting of social housing within the Epping District to those in most housing need?
We are looking for an expert housing needs professional who is passionate about customer service and improving the life opportunities of clients. You will need to be able to be creative in your problem solving and think innovatively about future service provision to provide lean, efficient, accessible services that meet the needs of customers.
You will be proficient in identifying beneficial and complimentary partnerships, adept at building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external partners.
You will have an attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of housing needs assessment, allocation and letting ensuring the Council meets its statutory obligations and you will be able to keep an accurate picture of housing need in the district feeding into the future housing.
