Epping Forest District Council is undergoing an exciting transformation and there is an opportunity to join the Housing Needs and Older Peoples Service in one of two key roles and play a major part in shaping services and improving customer experience in order to achieve the delivery of high quality, excellent housing services which meet the needs of clients.
Are you an expert in homelessness legislation, case law and related codes of guidance? Are you committed to the provision of sensitive, timely housing advice and assistance to maximise homelessness prevention and relief? Would you like to play a leading role in shaping and improving services in order to achieve the delivery of excellent customer focussed housing services?
We are looking for an expert homelessness professional who is passionate about customer service and improving the life opportunities of clients. You will need to be able to be creative in your problem solving and think innovatively about future service provision to provide lean, efficient, accessible services that meet the needs of customers.
You will be proficient in identifying beneficial and complimentary partnerships, adept at building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external partners.
As well as delivering high quality operational services, you will also have an eager eye on the horizon, scanning for opportunity to secure external funding and trailblaze creative new ways to respond to and meet the needs of clients.
