Your New Role
Situated within the Finance and Information Services directorate providing a first class service to Adult Social Care. The Debt management Officers are part of the Financial Assessments, Income and Recovery Team, responsible for the effective and efficient recovery of Debt owing to Portsmouth City Council in respect of Adult Social Care charges.
Due to the vulnerability of this particular client base this roles requires an empathetic and holistic approach to debt recovery, working closely with clients, their representatives, Adult Social Care professionals and the Financial Assessments and Benefits team.
You will have the ability to form good realtionships with internal and external customers and have experience in Debt recrovery procedures and techniques.
