WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an Early Help Practitioner who is interested in joining a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).  MASH is the front door to our Safeguarding Services within North East Lincolnshire and is a growing fast-paced team. 

  • You have worked with children and families in a broad range of prevention and early intervention settings
  • You are able to provide information, advice and guidance to children and families so that they have positive outcomes
  • You are able to apply your practical knowledge to support and promote positive outcomes for children and young people (0-19) and their families
  • You are able to evidence assessment/exploration skills in order to identify levels of need and barriers for young people/children/families
  • You are able to effectively engage with service users with challenging and/or complex behaviours and needs
  • You can undertake work that is of a sensitive and potentially difficult nature
  • You are able to demonstrate building and maintaining effective relationships with children, parents, carers and multi-agency partners
  • You understand how safeguarding works and the operating models we use (Signs of Safety, Restorative Practice)
  • You have a commitment to the highest of practice standards and information security
