Surrey County Council is on an ambitious and exciting journey and we are looking for people to join our Children's commissioning division, within the Children, Schools and Families Directorate.
We are looking for change-makers, with strong commissioning, service design, health and Children's and Families experience to join a dynamic commissioning department, who are about to embark on large scale and far-reaching transformation programmes for the children and young people of Surrey.
To these roles, you will bring extensive knowledge and experience of service design, national practice, alongside experience of commissioning services and interventions across the role portfolios.
You will possess good inter-personal skills and an ability to get on well with people at all different levels, both internal to the organisation and externally, to achieve the best outcomes for the children and young people of Surrey.
You will have the opportunity to influence the wider Commissioning and Transformation agenda and take decisions at a senior level. You will also be working with friendly and supportive colleagues who are committed to delivering excellent outcomes.

We are looking for passionate individuals with experience of commissioning public services in a complex environment. Knowledge and experience of Children's and Families commissioning is preferred but not essential.
Passionate about designing and commissioning quality services which improve outcomes for the children and young people of Surrey. You are creative and solution-focused, with an eye for detail, great communication skills and the ability to analyse data.
You will have experience commissioning services for children, including service design and procurement and an understanding of the needs of vulnerable service users
You are committed to working collaboratively with partners and service users, and can undertake analysis to ensure that we are aligned with our needs, resources and outcomes.
