About the Post:

We are seeking a passionate and focused Project Officer who has a strong track record of delivery to help drive forward and realise the housing and economic growth aspirations of Barnsley.  

As a member of the Housing and Energy Team, you will be responsible for assisting and enabling the delivery of the Council’s Housing Strategy, a refreshed approach to housing growth and regeneration in Barnsley with a 5 year investment and delivery programme.   

The successful candidate will assist the delivery of a number of high profile housing projects working across multi-functional teams and in collaboration with our partners. Please contact Sarah Cartwright on (01226) 787942 for an informal discussion.    

As Project Officer, you'll enjoy a varied range of responsibilities, assisting the Project management of a number of high profile housing and regeneration schemes, coordinating resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and ensuring that projects are effectively planned and managed within a formal programme and project management framework.
