The purpose of this role is to offer a perspective and knowledge base during the development, delivery and evaluation of recovery learning opportunities. The role may include supporting and welcoming Recovery College members and visitors; co-design, co-facilitation and evaluation of recovery learning offers; supporting operations of the College; identifying potential partnerships and supporting engagement activity to raise awareness of the full recovery offer. 
The post is to provide Support and give Time to service users with severe and/or enduring mental health problems in order to promote their Recovery. The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and through the Care Programme Approach (CPA)/Care Management Process will support adults with complex mental health needs to live as independently as possible . 
 
STR Workers will have the individual service user’s wishes and aspirations at the fore at all times. They will work closely with service users, helping to provide care in line with an agreed care plan. Whilst working as part of a team, there will be a significant amount of individual work, which could take place in various community settings, in hospital or in service user’s homes. 
 
The post holder will be offered regular supervision and will have the opportunity to attend and fully complete a nationally agreed induction programme and undertake on-going training to NVQ Level 3.
