The Council are seeking to appoint a Human Resources Business Partner to work with a nominated client-directorate management team as a HR consultant and assist the relevant Corporate Director and Head of Service to implement people management and change processes within the Directorate and services, and act as the facilitator for the management team, coaching them on HR Practice.
This role will be varied, as duties include proactively providing support and advice to managers, in a coaching style, on all employment related matters as well as organisational development and developing and delivering HR related training. It is therefore essential that you have proven experience of working in a HR environment, advising managers on complex case work and an up to date understanding of employment legislation, policies, practices and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will need to build strong business relationships with internal stakeholders and represent HR at internal meetings.
