This is a great opportunity to join the Contract, Funding and Performance team of the Employment and Skills service, to support the development, implementation and maintenance of a range of management information and data systems to assist effective service delivery.
As Systems and Data Officer, you'll enjoy a varied range of responsibilities, including: supporting the operational development of the management information system; managing the process of contractual returns, ensuring data quality and compliance with funding rules and contractual standards and requirements; developing and maintaining a programme of quality assurance and data validation checks; and designing, producing and communicating reports for a variety of audiences.
You’ll need to have a range of experience working with information, processes, systems and databases, and report writing. In addition, you’ll need to have knowledge of data returns, management information requirements, and databases and datasets. You’ll also be equipped with excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex queries or issues effectively, and the ability to prioritise queries or issues based on service needs and impact.
This role is a career progression opportunity offered at two levels: for level one, you’ll need a level 3 qualification in a relevant subject; for level two, you’ll need a level 5 qualification in a relevant subject.
