The role will be full of variety. No two days will be the same in this rewarding role.
At St Nicholas Day Service as a Support Worker you will be part of a team providing responsive support to help people with a learning disability to pursue their chosen lifestyle and connect with their community.
This position is graded at Single Status 5, with scale points of 12 to 13, which equate to £19,171 - £19,554 per annum for a full time position. This post is for 30 hours per week and we currently operate Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. You will need to be available to work between the hours of 8.30am and 5pm on a rota basis.
St Nicholas Day service caters for between 45 and 55 people a day. We run a range of sessions supporting our clients to build community links, learn life skills and develop an understanding of health, wellbeing and leisure.
