As a Service Manager you will be included on an 'on-call' rota, providing out of hours phone support during evenings and weekends. You will also work occasional weekends (currently approximately 1 weekend in 8) which attracts an additional increment making the actual starting salary for this post to £29,959).

Based in Hailsham you will be leading a countywide team delivering services to clients living independently in the community.

You will be responsible for the day to day management of the service, the support and development of the staff team, ensuring high quality service provision and effective deployment of resources.

  • Effective problem solving and decision making
  • A proven record in leading and managing a staff team
  • The ability and drive to take forward new initiatives
  • Experience of working with people who receive support from social care services
