Starting Salary £39,782 rising to £41,675

We are taking forward a number of major projects in the fields of housing and regeneration and developing a more commercial approach corporately along with a refocus on innovative front line services.
A vacancy has arisen for a suitably experienced and qualified individual to deliver effective and efficient Human Resources Services to the Council and other organisations as required. With Chartered CIPD status, or willing and able to acquire this within three months of appointment at own expense, and significant experience of operating at a senior strategic and advisory level, some of which will be in a public sector organisation, preferably local government, you will have a proven track record of implementing change within a complex unionised organisation. You will possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and be able to write and present policies and reports to a varied audience. Managing a small team of HR professionals you will ensure that excellent service delivery is maintained in accordance with agreed timelines and performance standards.
