Director of Early Help and Children's Health
£101,460 - £117,348 pa

This position will report into the newly appointed Children's Commissioner and is key to making sure that all children and young people have access to opportunity and amazing health services, giving them the best start in life.

The post holder will lead and manage a portfolio of activities and provision within Early Help and Children's Health, including the following: Early Help, 0-19 Children's health, (health visiting service, the school nurse service, the family nurse partnership,) Best Start in Life and HeadStart.

We are looking for a talented individual with the energy and enthusiasm to complete a brand new leadership team that together will deliver the Mayor and her administration’s ambitions and vision for Newham, putting people at the heart of everything we do.

The successful person will work collaboratively with the community of Newham and internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for people who approach problems differently and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo, putting children first.
