Following a restructure of the Council's Strategic Housing Service we are looking to recruit an Operations Housing Assistant to support the Housing Solutions Manager and team with a range of administrative and business functions and the assisting with the operation of the Council's housing allocations process.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain an insight and experience of working in a busy Housing Service dealing with a wide range of customers experiencing problems with housing including homelessness.
Applicants should be competent in using IT systems, with excellent skills in administration and data-handling. Ideally with experience of providing excellent front line service to customers, they will be expected to be a good team worker with attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and have excellent communication skills.
You will be required to work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
