The HR Learning & Organisational Development team at OneSource is looking for talented, highly skilled HR&OD professionals who are excellent communicators that can work collaboratively and provide advice, guidance and support to managers and all employees.
HR Consultant-(Fixed Term Contract -12 Months)
OneSource is the award winning Shared Service organisation that supports managers in the London Boroughs of Havering and Newham as they go through a period of great change. We’ve already helped both councils to make substantial savings and efficiencies – but we can’t stop there.
Both councils need to modernize further, and our HR&OD professionals are at the heart of that change.
We are looking for people who can challenge existing work practices and provide customer focused services in a fast paced environment, across both Boroughs.

Previous experience of providing advice to managers on performance management, culture change, values & behaviours, competencies, staff engagement, training & development, coaching & mentoring along with other learning & organisational development interventions.
Job requirements :
- Experience of providing a high quality professional learning & organisational development HR&OD service and advising on a range of HR&OD matters;
- Experience of providing high quality and consistent HR&OD advice, guidance and support in a cost effective and efficient way that positively impacts customer effectiveness, efficiency and confidence;
- Demonstrable experience of implementing HR&OD policies and procedures and making improvement and recommendations;
- Experience of building productive relationships with customers
- Ability to show personal resilience and work in a fast paced environment and balance competing priorities to deliver to timescales
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience within the HR profession
