We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused team player with a genuine interest in housing, to help us deliver excellent housing services. You will be responsible for providing an effective and customer focused rent arrears recovery service with an emphasis on tenancy sustainment and income maximisation. You will utilise your excellent problem solving skills and liaison arrangements with our partners and other external agencies in order to assist our tenants to meet their obligation in relation to their rent, at the same time meeting Islington’s expected performance outcomes. You will be required to collect all income due in line with targets, aswell as negotiating and agreeing appropriate repayment plans. We are looking for someone with:
- Experience of delivering services within a multi-cultural community.
- An understanding of Universal Credit and Housing benefits sufficient to provide general advice to service users. Experience of working in a Social Housing environment is desirable.
