Job Title: Library Assistant
Location: Hitchin library
Salary Range: £18,065 to £19,171 pa (pro rata for part-time)
Hours: 23.5 hours per week
This is an excellent opportunity to join the team at Hitchin Library, a thriving community hub.
Working as part of a team, you will deliver excellent customer service to library customers, ensuring all information services and resources are available and promoted to members of the public.
The successful candidate will be a friendly and confident person who is happy to work in a customer facing role. You will be competent using computer packages for searching for information.
You will be flexible to actively engage with the delivery and promotion of all frontline services in the Library and events and outreach activities as required.
