We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Physio to join the Reablement Service within Central Bedfordshire.
In Adult Social Care, we want every person in Central Bedfordshire to have a responsive, customer focused care and support - making this a great place to live and work. As a Senior Physio Therapist, you'll be at the heart in supporting vulnerable people to be safe, well and as independent as possible.
You will be working within the Reablement team which includes Step Up Down Units. The teams aim to provide up to 6 weeks support for people to maximise their independence and safety to enable them to return home.
As a Senior Therapist you will provide professional support, leadership and line management to qualified staff who form part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team. The team's role will be to promote the independence of adults and older people in need of community services and their carers by assessing their needs, promoting enablement and reablement, providing equipment and support.
The service works in close partnership with other health and care systems and has recently reviewed the customer pathway to enhance experience and deliver positive integrated outcomes, Through Intergrated Operations, we work alongside our Community Health Service provider to deliver a multi disciplinary approach to integrated Health and Social Care.
You will be required to have community experience hold a degree or equivalent within Physio Therapy and be HCPC registered as a Physio Therapist.
