In Northampton, we have expanded and restructured our Housing Advice and Options Service to increase our effectiveness in preventing homelessness.

We are now looking to appoint a talented Private Sector Housing Adviser who will work proactively with private landlords and their tenants to resolve disputes, remedy breaches of tenancy and negotiate the renewal of tenancies.

As part of a team of housing advisers, the Private Sector Housing Adviser will provide landlords and tenants with comprehensive, expert advice and information about their housing rights and responsibilities and the options available to them.

To meet the requirements of this key role, you will have excellent communication skills, work well under pressure and enjoy being part of a team. You will also have a passion for multi-agency working, problem solving and preventing homelessness.
