We are looking for a motivated and experienced Digital Communications Officer to work within our Communications and Engagement team, helping to continue our exciting digital transformation work and produce innovative and eye catching design and video content.

You will act as the council’s brand champion and advise staff at all levels on the use of the council’s corporate identity, including the development of high quality design work, marketing campaigns and brands which consistently spark interest and reach a range of audiences.

With an eye to the future, you'll help hone and shape our digital communications through analytics, monitoring and creating clear and user-focused content for different audiences. You will ensure digital content follows industry standard best practice, promoting the importance of clear and accessible content.

A natural communicator with a genuine user focus, you'll be comfortable managing a varied proactive and reactive workload, possessing excellent design and written communication skills, alongside a solid understanding of digital, video and marketing communications.  This is your opportunity to use your design and digital expertise to deliver an exceptional range of multimedia content to help us achieve our goals.
