Are you an experienced Benefits Officer or Housing Options Officer open to a new challenge of working in a team of generic officers who;
• Deliver the housing options and homelessness service including applications processed under Part 7 Housing Act 1996 as amended by Homelessness Reduction Act 2017
• Manage the housing waiting list
• Administer claims for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction
• Use discretionary funding to ensure that homes are financially sustainable
We are looking for an experienced Benefits or Housing Options Advisor Officer to work to work as part of a team of officers to deliver the frontline housing options, homelessness and benefits service.
