Job Title: Team Manager
Location: Stevenage based, Countywide role
Salary Range: £45,591 to £48,531 pa plus a £4k market forces payment
Hours: 37 per week
We have an exciting new role as part of the review of services for adolescents in Hertfordshire. We are actively recruiting a Team Manager for the newly created Intensive Intervention Team within Services for Young People. The post-holder will have the opportunity to be innovative in shaping the delivery of specialist adolescent services and working alongside colleagues in the delivery of integrated services to young people including Youth Justice, edge of care and targeted prevention.
Using the skills and experience of its own staff and through a wider partnership the Intensive Intervention Team will deliver bespoke support through which vulnerable young people and their families are provided with effective, child-centred safeguarding interventions, underpinned by frameworks that support trauma informed practice and contextual safeguarding. The service will ensure that young people are able to remain within their family as appropriate and with support.
The Intensive Intervention Team will deliver flexible support to the highest risk cases countywide within the Specialist Adolescent Service, which could include complex family dysfunction or separation, high risk behaviour, homelessness, child exploitation and Tier 4 returns home (mental health). Contained within this team will be staff with experience working with child exploitation, family support and mental health. Our existing area teams will case hold, with the Intensive Intervention Team delivering a flexible and wraparound response to young people and their families at the time that it is needed. The Team will work collaboratively with the ARC service to ensuring cohesive and seamless packages of intervention are delivered 7 days a week including short breaks where appropriate.
