Job Title: Project Assistant - Parenting Together Support Programme
Location: Hertford
Salary Range: £22,462 progressing to £24,799 pa (pro rata for part-time)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term - Until the end of June 2021

Job Duties:

A programme that aims to reduce the level of conflict between parents (whether together or separated) is being delivered across six local authorities around Hertfordshire and Hertfordshire County Council have been commissioned to act as the centre point for referrals to the programme.

We are looking for a confident communicator who is organised and can assist front line practitioners to ensure the programme reaches the parents who will benefit from it.

The main expectation of the role is to provide telephone and email support for practitioners across all 6 local authorities , to process referrals and address any issues, and also to liaise with the programme provider and other stakeholders. The support will be based on the information held centrally on a database (no formulas involved but accuracy and attention to detail is paramount!)  and an understanding of the scope of the programme in addressing parental conflict (full training will be provided). Previous experience working with families is desirable but not essential.

The scope of this role is still unfolding and there will be awareness/promotional events and meetings that the successful candidate will be expected to support.

There is a newsletter which the post holder will have responsibility for, including sourcing up-to-date information on parental conflict and good practice examples as well as FAQs.

The parental conflict programme is part of a wider Relationship Support programme and the successful candidate will assist with elements of that programme too.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Lynne Shine on 01992 588163 or Ruth Fennemore on 01438 844417

Closing Date: Sunday 10th November

Interview Date: Tuesday 19th November
