We are looking to appoint two all age Personal Advisers to join the Inspire Careers team with minimum of a level 3 qualification in Careers Guidance and Development. Salary offered will be dependent on qualification level.
These posts are for a 30 month contract supporting delivery to schools, all age community projects and a young person's drop in center with a focus on supporting the Tilbury CLLD project. As the personal advisors, you will be based in Tilbury but may work from the Inspire Hub in Grays.
These are front line roles working with residents by supporting the traded delivery within Thurrock schools / colleges and the community based work of Inspire Thurrock Careers providing Thurrock residents with support into their chosen career options.
Good communication skills, written and verbal, are vital plus the ability to organise and prioritise own workloads. Good computer skills, the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently are also a priority.
Key functions of the role will be to support, assist and advocate on behalf of residents to enable them to participate effectively in appropriate education, employment or training opportunities.
