Duty Manager - (Ref: 1F108P)

The John Warner Sports Centre, Hoddesdon

40 hours per week - Salary from £20,987.40 p.a.

A Duty Manager has a day-to-day responsibility for the operation of The John Warner Sports Centre, working with all members of staff in all facility areas, including Fit&Well and Food and Beverages. The successful candidate will work on a shift rota system, covering days, evenings and weekends, with responsibility for the operational management of The John Warner Sports Centre, including health and safety, customer care, and leading and managing staff.

Successful applicants should ideally have experience working in a busy leisure environment; hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and a First Aid at Work certificate. A National Pool Lifeguard Trainer Assessor qualification and Pool Plant operating certificate is desirable but not essential. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English is essential for this post.

Previous experience of supervising staff would be beneficial, although not essential for this role.

This role requires an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) that Broxbourne Council will pay for.
