We are looking for an experienced, innovative and motivated officer to join our Building Control Team. The role is very varied, interesting and fast paced. We are
looking for a qualified professional Building Control Officer with imagination and initiative to play a part in shaping and making a difference in Harlow.
You must have relevant experience in working on your own initiative to excellent quality standards with no supervision. You will need to be qualified to RICS / CABE
with considerable post-qualification experience working within Building Control; working on your own and with other professionals and you will be expected to be
able to use a number of software packages, IT equipment and peripheral devices for record keeping and communication.
An extensive knowledge of current Building Regulations and the associated legislation and procedures is essential along with the ability to promote the services
offered by Harlow Building Control and improving market share in this highly competitive business.
From time to time you will be required to deputise for the Building Control Manager and you will assist with the training and supervision of junior staff.
A full driving licence and use of a car or other suitable means of transport is essential for work purposes.
