Job Introduction

Hangleton & Benfield  federation, are looking to appoint a deputy leader for safeguarding and inclusion, based at Hangleton  

The success candidate must:-

  • Have the ability to build excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Readiness to make a positive contribution to the full life of the school
  • Be able work jointly with external agencies
  • Communicate clearly and to provide verbal and written, intelligible and comprehensive reports and recording.
  • Ability to work effectively in complex situations and in a hectic work environment.
  •  Competence in identifying and maintaining purposeful networks and collaborative arrangements
  • Competence in enabling others through management, supervision, consultation, practice teaching or direct contributions to education and training.
  • Ability to develop and deliver bespoke, effective training on relevant topics to large and small groups
  • Understanding of child protection policies, procedures and practices eg Child protection, Children in Care, court proceedings
  • Be able to follow and implement the schools behaviour policy,

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
