The Town Council has created a new post and is looking for an individual who is committed to maintaining play areas and amenity green spaces in Dunstable to the very highest standard.
The post holder will be required to work at various parks and open space locations throughout the town. The duties of the post will include maintenance and safety inspections of a wide range of play and outdoor equipment, safer surfacing and street furniture as well us some litter picking and general grounds maintenance.
The post holder may also be expected to work additional hours as required to assist with weekend grounds duties.
If you are a well-organised person capable of managing your own workload and you are interested in taking on this new role you will need to demonstrate that you hold a Register of Play Inspectors International (RPII) accreditation or show a willingness to work towards achieving the accreditation.
You will also need to demonstrate a practical experience and knowledge of inspecting, maintaining and repairing play equipment. A full driving licence is also essential for this role.
