We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic person to join the Organisational Development Team in Adult Social Care & Health. The Information Guidance and Organisational Development Assistant will support the Organisational Development Team in it’s development, delivery and management of departmental staff and organisational support systems, staff and high profile external event management and stand-alone projects.  You will be a key member of the team, with the role primarily based in Lewes at County Hall.

This often fast paced role requires a high degree of accuracy, flexibility, familiarity with online systems and excellent organisational skills. Other duties of the role will include supporting members of the Organisational Development Team with maintaining a document database, organising and minuting meetings, maintaining team records as well as provision of very occasional support/ cover for the wider Information and Communications team, including the Head of Organisational Development.  In order to do this, the successful candidate will need sound experience using Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Excel and be able to support multiple pieces of work simultaneously.  Self-motivated, collaborative and a willingness to participate in the many exciting pieces of work that the team delivers is essential.

The successful candidate will benefit from high standards of support and supervision as well as flexible working, including the ability to work away from the office, after a qualifying induction period.  East Sussex County Council also offer a Staff Benefits Portal, again after a qualifying period, where staff members can access a huge amount of discounts and benefits with hundreds of retailers, hospitality and entertainment outlets.
