Your New Role
We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub Team in Portsmouth. As part of the team you will combine with colleagues from all the key agencies to navigate contacts of concern about children to ensure they receive a timely service, which meets their and the family's needs. You will also hold a small Child Protection caseload and be expected to represent the service in other multi-agency settings e.g. MARAC and MAPPA's. Another function is the preparation of private law reports for court so you must be able to demonstrate skills in both of these areas.
You will have a d Have a Diploma or Degree in social work and be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and a good working knowledge of theory and legislation including the Children act 89/04 amongst others.
