Are you an experienced care worker looking for flexibility within their work? Due to the expansion of Reablement and Intermediate Care services in Widnes we are looking for:

Casual Care and Support Co-ordinators

  • Working opportunities are within both our bed based unit and community provision.
  • Although rotas are in place we are looking for staff that can pick up work to support cover during busy times, to cover holidays and support at the weekends

The service provides short term reablement and support to people within the Halton area. Our role is to ensure that we provide an effective assessment system that underpins service users’ care and support plans in order to support and maximise their independence; improve their ability to live at home or become as independent as possible within their limitations

We are looking for caring, hardworking, compassionate and dedicated individuals who ensure that care, support and Reablement is provided to a high standard and in accordance with care and support plans.

We are looking for experienced professional staff, with knowledge and skills in care, preferably holding an NVQ L3 in a care related discipline. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will develop and maintain effective working relationships with a range of professionals including Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Dieticians and Social Workers. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to effectively communicate with and listen to others. You will also be competent in accurately maintain clear and concise written records and producing reports.
