You will join us as a Housing Assistant who will play an active role in meeting these aims, and in the provision of an efficient housing service.
Housing Assistant Responsibilities:
The housing assistant will be responsible for answering basic telephone enquiries and dealing with routine correspondence, assisting in processing housing register applications and maintaining both Council’s housing register and by developing and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues across the team, across the District Councils and with external and partner agencies as appropriate.
Housing Assistant Requirements:
We are looking for someone with an enthusiastic and positive attitude, a commitment to customer care, who can deal calmly and sympathetically with customers who may be angry or distressed and has the ability to cope with a busy and sometimes stressful workload.

Salary: £21,154 to £24,705 per annum
