Casual Kitchen Assistant
Grade 1/2 £20103-£21591pro rata
To undertake the preparation, simple cooking and the serving of food and beverages in accordance with the Council’s contractual arrangements.
The postholder reports to: Cook Supervisor or Higher Graded Operative
The postholder has line management responsibility for: No direct staffing responsibilities
The postholder will be required to work: As defined on Staffing Profile
Hours of work will differ from week to week depending on casual cover needed
Ability to undertake food preparation under supervision.
Ability to accept cash and give change accurately.
Ability to present an acceptable image
Ability to operate basic industrial kitchen equipment.
Ability to handle difficult situations in a calm, diplomatic and competent manner.
