LGV Class II Driver/Team Leader (Ref: FLSO/LGV ll)

Salary £22,401.60 per annum

Experienced LGV drivers are needed to work in the waste management section. The driver’s role is to lead a small team who collect household and commercial waste and a variety of recyclable materials.

The successful candidate must be committed to delivering a high quality service and ensure the efficient completion of daily schedules. Applicants must have a Driver CPC and a full British driving licence with the entitlement to drive LGV class II vehicles.

Teamwork and mutual co-operation is encouraged; the teams work on a task and finish basis, helping each other to complete their rounds.

Applicants for all posts must be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions, enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in their work, be able to demonstrate the best principles of customer care and be prepared to work flexibly, including on bank holidays.
