Within our Care and Support services we put individuals at the heart of everything we do. As an apprentice within our team, you will be offering person-centred support and care to vulnerable adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, frail and elderly and individuals living with Dementia. In our residential and day services.
During your apprenticeship you will split your time between a Learning Disability Service and an Older person’s service.
As a Senior Care and Support Apprentice you will:
Ideally, you will already hold a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care. Maths and English GCSEs at grades A* to C or 4 to 9 are desirable but not essential. Where these qualifications are not achieved our apprentices will undertake Functional Skills as part of the apprenticeship.
You will be required to undertake an initial assessment as part of the interview if you do not already hold maths and English GCSE’s or equivalents.
