It is an exciting time to join a new team in Croydon as a Clinical Therapist, delivering systemic practice interventions and guidance to our social workers and practitioners who are working directly with our Children, Young People and Families in Croydon. We have a practice framework which enables us to have a clear vision and orientation for practice.
Reporting to Nana Bonsu, our new Systemic Practice Service Lead, you will be creating and embedding systemic therapeutic services alongside your new Clinical Therapist team. Together with supporting the training of practitioners in systemic practice with an accredited training provider.
Appropriately qualified and registered in any of the following professional fields; family and systemic psychotherapy, psychology and other related fields; you will have experience of working with complex and vulnerable families demonstrating your therapeutic talents with both individuals and groups. It will be desirable if you are also a HCPC registered Social Worker, however this is not essential.
Your skills in undertaking assessments of therapeutic need will enable you to consult, advise and provide reflective supervision to social worker practitioners and managers.
Your ability to engage and develop effective professional relationships will enable you to deliver high quality systemic interventions. We have fantastic teaching opportunities where you will be co-delivering training for our accredited systemic training course!
We are keen to recruit clinical therapists who have a passion and drive to working with families that emphasises the importance of relationships. We want to ensure our children and young people are safe and remain at home where possible.

Based on qualifications and experience, the remuneration package is up to £55,638 per annum. We are willing to consider applicants who are in their final year of their MSc training in family and systemic psychotherapy.
