The role of a Floor Manager is extremely varied and involves supervising our passionate team of Library Information Assistants and collaborating with the Development Team and rolling out new initiatives such as clubs and activities. This also involves being our ‘voice’ on social media and helping to spread the word about our service, and ensuring that our buildings are welcoming and vibrant spaces for our local community.
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and energetic person to this role. You will have a passion for libraries and will be an active member of the wider library profession. You will have experience of delivering excellent customer service and of reaching out to a wide cross sector of society. With effective communication skills, you will enjoy working as part of a collaborative team and will have a positive outlook to service development and change.

The role is a Temporary contract for 12 months and will be based at Halton Lea and Runcorn Libraries with some travel to Widnes and Ditton Libraries when and if needed. There is a set 2 week rolling rota which is attached to this advert.
