The City of London Corporation offers diversity on a huge scale. We’re always looking for ways to better support our local communities, with our work impacting not only on the residents and workers of the Square Mile, but far beyond – across the UK and overseas too.
As a key member of the Department of Community and Children’s Services, you’ll work with a talented team who are responsible for a wide portfolio of services. The challenges you face won’t be easy, but you’ll be committed to sourcing and securing the services that could feasibly make someone’s health and wellbeing that much better. Regardless of whether you’re working on homelessness or children’s social care, adult learning or early years support, you’ll make sure each service is doing what it’s meant to be doing, and that it’s worth every penny being spent on it.
We’re looking for a highly organised individual who has experience of commissioning services and managing contracts. With knockout communication skills, you’ll know how to benchmark and evaluate performance, monitor compliance and get the best out of everyone you work with.
We’re focussed on ability here – so if you love working as part of a team and you’re passionate about getting the job done, then you’ll fit in beautifully. And crucially, you can look forward to a competitive package, plus unlimited development opportunities.
Closing date: 12 noon, 7 October 2019.
