The Service 

The Project and Programme Management Team undertake a diversity of projects for a range of customers. There is a continuous programme of projects delivering upgrades, enhancements and replacement of applications, infrastructure and business systems. 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced project manager with a track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder IT transformation and upgrade projects to set us apart from others. 

Your new role 

Reporting to the project and programme management team manager you will engage with projects of all sizes from the early concepts and development stages through to final hand over and operational support, via our governance processes. 

You will deliver the total lifecycle of IT projects to the agreed time, quality, budget and IT strategy and will be responsible for the appropriate planning, coordination, control and mitigation of all challenges the projects may encounter. 

Your previous experience will allow you to report confidently on the performance of each project, identifying issues and providing potential solutions as well as introducing new technology or business tools for our customers. 

What you need to succeed 

We are looking for innovative project managers who have proven, multi-project experience obtained over a number of years. 

Of particular interest is experience of data migration between systems for application consolidation. Also planning, implementation, testing and release of significant system upgrades, replacement or significant technology changes, all coordinated with operational change management across an organisation.
